So 2 weeks ago, I was in a baking mood. But I wanted to make something that would cool me off. So I opened my Oreo Sweet Treats cookbook that I got for Christmas and searched for the perfect treat. I found this one, made it, and they were totally good. My family and I enjoyed them for the rest of the week. So I decided to post the recipe from the cookbook for all of you to devour. Enjoy! OREO Cookies & Creme Pudding Pops Prep: 10 min Plus Freezing Makes: 10 servings What You Need! 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) vanilla flavor instant pudding 2 cups cold milk 12 OREO Cookies, divided 1/2 cup thawed frozen whipped topping MAKE IT! BEAT dry pudding mix and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. CHOP 6 cookies; crush remaining cookies. Spoon half the crushed cookies onto bottoms of 10 (3-oz.) paper or plastic cups. ADD chopped cookies and whipped topping to pudding; stir just until blended. SPOON pudding mixture into cups; top with remaining crushed cookies. Insert wooden pop stick or plastic spoon into each handle. Freeze 5 hours or until firm. HOW TO REMOVE FROZEN POPS FROM CUPS: Hold frozen cups with hands on sides of cups to warm pops slightly before removing from cups. To remove pops, press firmly onto bottom of cup to release pop. Do not twist or pull pop stick. Note from ReflectionBlog: If you happen to have just enough OREO's for the recipe, I'd buy more, because I used about 3 more OREOs when I made it. Have fun! I made these with my friend the other day, and they turned out super duper good. Enjoy! And you can have it all brought to you in under 8 minutes. Awesome, right? Well, only if you want to die at a young age of obesity. When going to a fast food place, here are some tips that will keep your diet healthier, even when you are in a rush. (That's why it's called FAST food)
1) When you are deciding what you want to order, by law the restaurant has to provide how many calories are in it. That can really help you narrow down what you want to eat. Just pick the ones with the lowest calories! That works most of the time... 2) Another tip is when you are looking at the menu, it really helps to get the healthiest choice, such as salad, over a deluxe double cheeseburger. I know it seems like common sense, but people tend to side with their taste-buds over their gut feeling. 3) Finally, your drink. It appears to be a small component to your meal, but it can play a huge part in calories. The only things in soda are artificial flavors, and empty calories. Empty calories are calories that don't give you energy, they give you body fat. So if you get anything at all out of this tip, it's to skip the soda. All in all, fast food should not be eaten often. I'd recommend once a month. But if you truly have nowhere else to eat, these tips will help you survive ;) By: RecipeNut at http://www.food.com/recipe/chocolate-fudge-cupcakes-22427 Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes Total Time: 1 hour Prep Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins RecipeNut's Note: These cupcakes are a chocolate-lover's dream.
