Two days ago at 10:00 in the morning, you could find me curled up in a ball on my bedroom floor, sobbing. 180 seconds had me in tears, because the ending was so incredibly sad and beautiful. I loved this book. For the first few chapters, I wasn't quite sure of what I thought of it, but a little ways in, I absolutely fell in love with it. 180 seconds by Jessica Park is about a quiet college student named Allison, and her journey through junior year. It's not what you'd expect, though. I don't want to give too much away, since half the thrill of the book is in absorbing her emotions. But I'll just say Park does a beautiful job of creating scenes. For example, Allison has this perfect fall day, and the way it was written made me feel like I was there. When I jumped back to reality, I started making plans experience some elements of that fall day. The book actually reminded me a bit of Girl Online, only a lot more mature. I really want everyone to read this book, because it has so much more substance than a silly beach read. It's a refreshing blend of bubbly, tragic, hopeful, and informative. 10/10 would recommend. Hope you enjoyed! :)
