By now you've all probably all seen this movie, but for those who haven't, I'll gladly clue you in: IT WAS SOOOO AMAZING. You know those times when the caps lock button isn't a powerful enough lever for your emotions? Well, that was what my friend and I were like during and after seeing it. In all honesty I had hopes for the movie because I had read the book and Shailene Woodley was my favorite actress from when I was 9. She starred in one of my favorite American Girl movies of all time: Felicity An American Girl. So when I heard she was gonna be in TWO movies i was dying to see, Divergent and The Fault In Our Stars, I basically fReaKed oUT. The feeling was like calling first dibs on the future: utterly nonsensically proud.
So this movie is about Tris Prior, a 16 year old girl living in a dystopian world. Sound familiar? Well, i can most certainly tell you that it is 100% different and unique from the HUnger Games. Different style, different author, different personalities, and no Katniss braids. Although, the attractiveness of the male leads are both quite strong. Basically, Tris has to choose which community and lifestyle to become apart of, called a faction. Abnegation-Selflessness : Amity-Peace : Erudite-Smarts : Dauntless-Bravery : Candor-Honesty
It all spirals from there.
