I know teachers are paid to teach us, but there are some slackers. The ones who only give one example, don't answer your questions, and just really don't wanna be there. Well, there are a few ways to deal with these people.
Step 1) Ask as many intelligent questions as you can! The more you ask, the more you make the teacher understand that he/she is not teaching the material enough for you to understand. Just make sure not to over do it, they may come to think of you as a pest.
Step 2) If your teacher has a free lunch and/or recess time, use that to ask to come in for some extra help. He/she will be glad that someone actually cares enough to want to understand the information. You can ask for more examples, to reteach the lesson, go over a quiz, anything that will help you understand things better.
I hope that you can find a solutio
