Hello! So this show is pretty interesting so far, and I thought I would give a review on it incase anyone has heard of it but just wasn't sure what to make of it. It only has two episodes so far, but I'm really enjoying it! Life Sentence is about this twenty-something girl (played by the beloved Lucy Hale) who has had cancer the past eight years. She beats it, and the show is about her figuring out what to do with the rest of her life. I really liked the idea of the premise of the show, since it's kind of like what would happen after the "fairytale happy ending" at the finale of a cancer drama film. The main character, Stella, is so positive that it's contagious! But I think the funniest part of the show is her support system. I won't give anything away, but her family has some (okay, maybe, like, a lotttt) of drama they've been keeping from her. Honestly this show is a bit of fresh air, because I feel like I either watch really heavy shows like How To Get Away With Murder and Riverdale, or super light shows like Gilmore Girls and That 70's Show. Life Sentence is the perfect balance of both, and I'm really enjoying it! If you were looking for a sign to watch this show, here it is! I would highly recommend this show. :) hope you enjoyed.
