The Real O'Neals is the type of show where you get so invested in the characters' lives that you forget you're not a member of the family. It's uplifting, light-hearted, and well written. The Real O'Neals never fails to make me laugh, and I've rewatched every episode of Season 1 more times than I'd like to admit. It was actually exactly the show I was searching for. Everything I watch is so intense, and I really needed something less dramatic. The show follows the O'Neals, an Irish Catholic family living in Chicago. There is more to each of them than it appears, and as the show goes on you find out more and more about the characters. The show mainly revolves around Kenny, the middle child, and his coming of age/coming out experiences. I love this show, and I think you will too. Hope you enjoyed :)
