I know teachers are paid to teach us, but there are some slackers. The ones who only give one example, don't answer your questions, and just really don't wanna be there. Well, there are a few ways to deal with these people.
Step 1) Ask as many intelligent questions as you can! The more you ask, the more you make the teacher understand that he/she is not teaching the material enough for you to understand. Just make sure not to over do it, they may come to think of you as a pest.
Step 2) If your teacher has a free lunch and/or recess time, use that to ask to come in for some extra help. He/she will be glad that someone actually cares enough to want to understand the information. You can ask for more examples, to reteach the lesson, go over a quiz, anything that will help you understand things better.
I hope that you can find a solutio
Having a messy locker is no fun, right? There are papers sticking out everywhere, and it's impossible to find anything. But even though life would be a ton easier with a clean and organized locker, sometimes you just don't know how to have one. Here are the steps to having the most organized locker in your row!
Step1-Have a fixated spot for everything and anything. Make your binders all in a row, have your lunch bag and gym bag in their own little cubby, and your backpack and coat hanging on the hooks, not the floor.
Step2-With the scattered papers situation, the way to avoid them is to put them in your binders in the first place! Don't just toss them on your pile of books then walk to class, take the two-seconds to slip them in your binder or folder. That way, when you go to open your locker, looking back at you is a clean, organized space
When you have a quiz or test coming up, there are a few quick, easy ways to help you ace them!
1) Always start studying at least 2 nights in advance. That way, the information can sink in better.
2) Pay attention in class! Getting good grades doesn't just mean studying your butt off all night for a B! Make an effort in class, you'll be surprised on how much you already know when you go to quiz yourself.
3) Make preparing for a test or quiz fun! You could make little games for yourself. For example, every time you get 5 questions correct in a row, allow yourself to do something quick and fun. Such as listen to your favorite song, or daydream for a minute. That will not only drive yourself to get more questions right because there's a reward coming up, but that little free time will allow the information to sink in.
School is the only place in the world where people come and volunteer their time to teach you the wonders of the world. What do they get in return? Some kids sleeping, some kids taking notes and really understanding, some kids hating every minute of it because they have "better" things to do, and some kids just tolerating it. Have you ever wondered why the teachers are teachers? Because they are there for you, not for themselves. We all have to go to school, no matter how many times you fake the flu, so you might as well take advantage of the opportunity and learn. That's what we'll try to convince you with the School Blog.
I love trying new things, but as of right now I love:
