This show has gotten so much hype and attention recently. Before I watched it, I thought the craze was solely based on Cole Sprouse (he plays one of the main characters). But now that I'm a few episodes in, I'm really enjoying it. It's a bit cheesy at times, but honestly what show nowadays isn't. I'm pretty invested in the character's storylines and what happens to them, and overall it's a pretty compelling show. To me, it's like a combination of: Pretty Little Liars, with the whole high school element, and How To Get Away With Murder, with all the flashbacks to the night the kid died (not a spoiler it literally happens one minute into the show). Basically, it's about this kid Jason Blossom who died, and all the characters who went to his high school. You have his twin sister, a new girl from NYC, a goody two-shoes, the quiet, mysterious kid, the boy next door who plays football and writes music, and a band. This show really hooks you, because you want to find out the truth about what happened on July 4th. It's actually based on a comic book series, and overall I would give this show a chance if you're even slightly interested in it.
